Day 1

Arrive Delhi

On arrival our representative shall meet you at the airport to welcome you and transfer you to The Imperial.

The Imperial is a legend that offers a unique experience embracing facets of India’s history, and stands witness to the birth of the capital city of New Delhi. Built in 1931 by Blomfield; one of Sir Edwin Lutyen’s associates and inaugurated by Lord Willingdon in 1936, the Hotel is known for its contemporary colonial style. As New Delhi’s landmark Hotel, it is located on Janpath, the erstwhile Q ueensway, steps away from the renowned shopping district and major attractions of the city.

Day 2

Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast commence city tour of Delhi covering Jama Masjid – The largest mosque in Asia, Gandhi Memorial, drive pass Red Fort – The red stone magic, India Gate, Parliament House and other government buildings. Beside these also visit Qutub Minar Complex and Laxmi Narayan Temple – The Place of Gods, before concluding the day. Overnight hotel. (B)

Day 3

Delhi – Udaipur (Flight)

Enjoy your breakfast at leisure. Afternoon check out from Delhi hotel followed by transfer to Delhi airport for your flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival assisted transfer to hotel where you spend rest of the evening at leisure.

Taj Lake Palace – It’s hard to believe the floating vision in marble is real. Blink, and indeed, there is a luminous palace emerging from the mist. Suddenly you are in a boat, drifting ever closer and the reality doesn’t disappoint. With the Aravalli Mountains and city palaces as a backdrop one gets an impending sense of enchantment.

An enchanting boat ride across Lake Pichola transports you to the ceremonial welcome that awaits you at resort. Stay overnight.(B)

Day 4

Udaipur

Founded by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1568, Udaipur is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola with lush green hills of the Aravalli surroundings, making it the most romantic city of Rajasthan. A vision in white drenched in beauty, the city is a fascinating blend of sights and sounds. The rich cultural, social and natural heritage, aesthetic beauty and ecological richness, preserved through the lakes, serene and opulent hilly ranges, lush green vegetation, pleasant gardens and harmonious built forms present a unique condition of scenic beauty.

Proceed for guided sightseeing tour and visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Museum, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari.

Enjoy rest of the day on the banks of the Lake Pichola, which shines like a jewel in the crown of the city adding more grace and grandeur to it or optionally take sunset cruise or visit the numerous shops that dot the narro w windings streets of Udaipur. Stay overnight at hotel. (B) 

Day 5

Udaipur – Jodhpur

Have your breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Today you will experience the feeling of traveling back in time with a journey to Jodhpur, while you catch a glimpse of the splendour and magnificence of this ancient desert city built on the edge of the Thar Desert. At its best, it is a doorway to the wonderland of sand dunes and shrubs, rocky terrain and thorny trees.

Check in to Umaid Bhwana Palace. Perched high above the desert capital of Jodhpur, Umaid Bhawan Palace is the last of the great palaces of India and one of the largest private residences in the world – set amidst 26 acres of lush gardens.

Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present Maharaja of Jodhpur, this golden – yellow sandstone monument was conceived on the grandest possible scale, in the fashionable Art Deco Style of that time. After 15 years in construction, the 347 – room palace was finally completed in 1943 – and has served as the principal residence of the Jodhpur royal family since.

Rest of the day is free to explore the rustic rural life of the locals. The folks here wear nice and lovely multihued costumes. One of the unique features of the culture is the colourful turbans worn by men. There is a warm and friendly feeling meted out by the local people. The bazaars have a range of items from tie and dye textiles, embroidered leather shoes, lacquer ware, antiques, carpets and puppets to the exquisite Rajasthani textiles, clay figurines, miniature camels and elephants, marble inlay work and classic silver jewellery. History oozes from the city’s magnificent forts, palaces, temples and traditional homes washed in pale indigo and the city still retains the medieval charm. Stay for two nights in Jodhpur.

Day 6

Jodhpur

Morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur and visit Mehrangarh Fort; one of the largest forts in India, the beauty and grandeur of numerous palaces inside narrates a saga of hard sandstones yielding to the chisels of skilled Jodhpuri sculptures and to enter seven gates have to be crossed. It was built by Ra o Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur city in 1459. The palaces in this fort have their own peculiar style, with narrow staircases, serving as the only means of access to the royal residence within. A collection of musical instruments, palanquins, furniture and cannons on the forts ramparts are well preserved. Also visit Old city; surrounded by a 10km long wall, has 8 gates serving as entrances, the winding streets offer colourful street markets with blue houses alternated with white houses and Clock tower; a prominent landmark. The new city is settled around this walled area.

Afternoon commence Bishnoi Village Safari. Bishnois are the most practical, simple; eco-friendly and living being caring sect of Hindu religion founded by great visionary saint Guru Jambheshwar ji. Based on 29 principles (rules). Bishnoi was the first sect/religion emphasizing love, peace and harmony among not only human beings but also with Mother Nature, wild animals and trees.

Visit to the bishnoi village where you can spot wild life like black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, and partridges and can also have an opportunity to see the bishnoi families & meet village people. Visitors can enjoy view of thousands of migratory, demoiselle cranes, Guda Lake and nearby places.

Visitors can see the weavers, potters and block printers on their work and shepherds families also. You will get to witness the Opium ceremony which is unique in this tribe.

Return back to hotel in the evening.

Day 7

Jodhpur – Jaipur (Flight)

Morning after breakfast rest of the day at leisure. Afternoon you will be provided in time transfer to airport for flight to Jaipur. In time pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel, Rambagh Palace.

Amongst the most preferred luxury hotels in India, Walk from room to room amongst rich textures, opulent furnishings and exquisite objects d’art. Step out into expansive, ornamental gardens arranged in brilliant symmetry. Retire to rooms that were once the sanctuaries of kings, princes and their guests. Day 8

Jaipur

In the morning take an excursion to Amber fort with joy ride on an Elephant. In the afternoon take a city tour covering City Palace – occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory – An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit and the Bazaar etc. Overnight hotel.(B) 

Day 9

Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

Today afternoon take drive to Agra en-route visiting old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty – Fatehpur Sikri.  On arrival, check into hotel. Day 10

Agra

Sunrise visit the magnificent Taj Mahal one of the world famous monument, surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife. It’s a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone-undoubtedly the highlight of your tour.

After morning breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of the city visiting Agra Fort and Itmad ud daulah

Agra Fort – The rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

Itmad – Ud – Daullah – To the north of Agra fort, on the opposite bank of the Yamuna, is the tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, Jehingir’s wazir, also known as Itmad-ud-daulah. The tomb is also referred to as the ’baby Taj’, as it was the very first Mughal structure to be totally built from marble and make extensive use of Pietra dura. Evening is free on your own to explore the local markets.(B) 

Day 11

Agra – Delhi Departure

Breakfast is at your leisure as you pack your bags for check out and drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival t5ranser to Delhi international airport for your onward flight journey.
