Deposit to book a tour: Please fill, sign and forward the booking form with deposit of $AUD300.00 per person to Taj voyages and will confirm your booking for the tour of your choice. All payments should be made in the name of Taj Voyages Pty Ltd. Taj Voyages reserves the right to correct any errors in rate and itinerary quoted/calculated, or any omissions made at any time during your booking. Any verbal quote given is an indication only of the final price and is subject to confirmation in writing. By paying the deposit, client agrees to be bound by the terms & conditions set forth in this brochure.
Final payment: the final due payment is to be paid 60 days prior to the departure date and payment should be made in the name of Taj Voyages Pty Ltd.
Amendment fees: Any amendments to the confirmed tour or itinerary will attract amendment fees of $50.00 per person and transferring from one tour package to another will attract $150.00 per person.
Bookings made in less than 60 days prior to the departure date will incur late booking fee of not less than $30 per booking and this late fee should be paid along with final payment. Payment must be made within 3 days after the company confirms that it is holding space.
All cancellations must be made in writing and will be subject to the following cancellations charges from the date the written cancellation is received by Taj Voyages.
If the numbers of passengers are too low, Taj Voyages reserves the right to cancel the tour any time and will offer similar tour package with alternative dates, if these options are not acceptable by customers Taj Voyages will refund the full payment made by customer, less visa cost. If the tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as, but not restricted to, force majeure, adverse weather, flight rescheduling, hotel over booking and faults with transportation or road conditions. Any decision made in respect of tour services by independent operators to re-route or amend the itinerary due to any of the above or similar circumstances is at the discretion of the tour service provider and Taj Voyages shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever arising from such events.
All the tour prices quoted in this brochure are in Australian dollars which includes tour preparation, operation and marketing costs. All prices quoted are current at the time of printing of brochure (as of July 2013), but are subject to change without prior notice. Taj Voyages reserves the right to adjust the cost in order to meet the foreign exchange fluctuations or any international taxes prior to tour confirmation.
It is strongly recommended that all the travellers are adequately covered by insurance for the duration of the travel which covers him/her for the duration of tour in case of medical injury, illness, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation & curtailment. Taj Voyages cannot in anyway be made liable for any cost incurred by the customers on any tour. In a medical emergency Taj Voyages Pty Ltd, would coordinate and facilitate, if requested for, over and above the medical insurance cover, through its representative office in India. Any/All bills raised for the services are to be settled by the client at or before departure from India via bank transfer to Taj Voyages Pty Ltd.
Please ensure that you select a suitable tour for your level of fitness as walking, boarding and disembarking coaches and boats, climbing monument stairs are required in many places. Taj Voyages Strongly recommends that you visit your doctor / dentist prior to your departure.
Taj Voyages retains the right to remove any passenger from the tour for reasons that impact the enjoyment or safety of other tour travellers, such as, but not limited to, the physical, medical or mental inability of traveller, unsocial or unruly behaviour, or carrying prohibited substances and materials.
All customers must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining after the tour return date. All Australian Passport holders require a visa for India. Foreign passport holders may incur an extra cost for arranging visas. Your Passport must reach Taj Voyages 60 days prior to departure. Your final documents will be mailed to you or your travel agents 15 days prior to departure date. Customers retain the reasonability to check the documentation accuracy, passport validity and dispatch of documents. Taj Voyages cannot guarantee the issue of visa by the relevant authority and accepts no responsibility if any visa application is refused. Any cancellation fee or other expenses incurred by the customer due to the refusal of visa will be entirely the customer’s liability.
Single Travellers on group tours may avoid paying the single hotel room option by opting to travel on “willing to share” basis. Taj Voyages will endeavour to match a single traveller with another suitable single traveller where single client wishes to share accommodation with a fellow single client on the same tour. Taj Voyages accepts NO responsibility for the suitability of the rooming partner. If at any time during the tour a traveller considers their rooming partner to be unsuitable Taj Voyages will endeavour to arrange a single room AT EXTRA COST, subject to the availability in the same hotel.
If any customer chooses not to continue the tour for whatever the reason, no refunds will be made to customers by Taj Voyages.
Itinerary changes: Taj Voyages makes every effort to operate the tour as per plan. There may be number of factors which may affect the tour plan, in which case Taj Voyages reserves the right to alter the itinerary at short notice in the interest of traveller, local people or the environment. Also Taj Voyages will not take any responsibility for changing the itineraries resulting from actions taken by domestic or international air carriers, cruise operators or railway operators for whatever the reasons.
Taj Voyages is committed to deal with the complaints made by customers effectively and efficiently. In any case, if the customer is not satisfied with the tour, he/she hereby agrees to inform the National Escort or Local Guide, who will take the prompt action to resolve the problem. If the customers are not satisfied with the actions taken by National Escort or Local Guide to resolve the problem, customer agrees to contact Taj Voyages by telephone or fax. If the above actions do not satisfy the customer on completion of tour, he/she agrees to provide written complaint to Taj Voyages within 15 days from the return date.
When booking with Taj Voyages I/WE are aware that the proposed tour, in addition to usual inherent dangers and risks, has certain additional dangers and risks, such as, but not limited to physical exertion, weather extremes, remoteness from normal medical and emergency services and evacuation difficulties for which I/WE may not prepared. I/We acknowledge that the enjoyment, excitement and personal development potential of the proposed tour are derived in part from its inherent risks. I/We accept all the risks of the proposed tour and in the possibility of personal injury, illness, death, property damage or loss, Taj Voyages or any of its staff may on my behalf and at my cost, arrange such medical treatment, evacuation or other assistance as they consider appropriate. I/We also agree that any liability on Taj Voyages is limited to a maximum tour cost. By entering into this agreement I/We are not relying on any oral, written or visual representations or statements by Taj Voyages or its staff and licensors or any other inducement or coercion to participate in the tour. I/We confirm that I/We have read and understood this agreement prior to signing of Booking Form. This agreement is subject to the laws of New South Wales and I/We submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
