Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Taj Voyages ("we", "us", or "our") and any person ("you", "your") who enquires about, books, or participates in a tour, journey, or related service arranged by us.
By submitting an enquiry, making a booking, or paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not proceed with a booking.
Taj Voyages acts as a travel arranger, coordinating services provided by third-party suppliers including hotels, transport operators, guides, restaurants, and local ground handlers. We are not the direct provider of these third-party services.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A reservation is only considered confirmed once we have received your signed or digitally accepted booking form together with the required deposit.
You warrant that all information provided to us at the time of booking — including names, passport details, dietary requirements, and medical conditions — is accurate and complete. We cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions in services arising from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.
If you are booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that all named travellers have read and accepted these Terms. You accept responsibility for all payments due under the booking.
A deposit of 25% of the total tour cost per person is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable except as set out in the cancellation section below.
The balance of the tour cost is due no later than 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date. If full payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges set out in these Terms.
For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Prices quoted are based on tariffs, exchange rates, and fuel costs prevailing at the time of quoting. We reserve the right to adjust prices if there are significant changes to any of these factors or if government taxes or levies increase. Any surcharge will be advised in writing before final payment is due.
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. The date of cancellation will be the date we receive your written notice. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
More than 60 days before departure: deposit forfeited; any additional payments refunded.
60 to 46 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost forfeited.
45 to 31 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost forfeited.
30 to 0 days before departure: 100% of total tour cost forfeited.
No refunds are available for services not used after travel has commenced, including unused accommodation, meals, sightseeing, or transport. Refunds for unused services, where recoverable from suppliers, will be processed less reasonable administrative costs.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover to protect against these charges.
If you wish to amend your booking after confirmation (for example, changing dates, accommodation, or itinerary), we will do our best to accommodate your request. Amendment fees may apply, and you will be responsible for any additional costs charged by suppliers as a result of the change.
Requests to change a booking to a different departure date are treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking. Standard cancellation charges will apply to the original booking.
We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries, accommodation, transport, or other services at any time where necessary due to operational, safety, weather, or supplier-related reasons. Most changes are minor; we will notify you as soon as practicable.
If we make a significant change before departure, you may choose to accept the change, select an alternative tour of comparable standard (subject to availability), or cancel and receive a full refund of all amounts paid to us.
We reserve the right to cancel a tour if minimum participant numbers are not met or for other operational reasons. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or an alternative tour. We are not liable for any incidental costs you may have incurred, such as visa fees, flights, or insurance premiums.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond your planned return date, and to obtain all required visas, permits, and vaccination certificates for the countries you will visit.
We can provide general guidance on visa and health requirements, but we do not guarantee the granting of any visa and accept no liability for refusal or delays. You should confirm current requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates before travel.
Some destinations require specific vaccinations or health precautions. You should consult your doctor or a travel health clinic well in advance of departure. We are not qualified to provide medical advice.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all tours arranged by Taj Voyages. Your policy must cover, at a minimum, medical and hospital expenses, emergency evacuation and repatriation, trip cancellation and curtailment, and loss of baggage and personal effects.
You must provide evidence of adequate insurance cover before departure. We accept no responsibility for any costs arising from your failure to obtain suitable insurance.
You agree to behave in a manner that does not endanger yourself or others, and to comply with all laws, customs, and regulations of the countries visited. You must follow the reasonable instructions of your tour leader, guide, or local representative.
We reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person whose conduct, in our opinion or that of any supplier, is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger, or disruption to others. In such circumstances, no refund will be payable for services not used.
If you have a pre-existing medical condition, disability, or specific need that may affect your participation, you must disclose this to us before booking so that we can advise on suitability and make reasonable arrangements where possible.
Taj Voyages arranges tours using independent suppliers who are themselves responsible for the services they provide. We accept responsibility for the proper selection and engagement of suppliers and for ensuring that booked services are provided with reasonable skill and care.
We are not liable for any act, omission, delay, injury, loss, or damage caused by a supplier or any third party outside our direct control, including transport operators, hotels, restaurants, or government authorities.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a tour is limited to the total amount paid to us for the relevant booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of enjoyment, or disappointment.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic or epidemic, government action, industrial action, or severe weather.
If a force majeure event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact. Any additional costs arising from such events are your responsibility, and we encourage reliance on your travel insurance for recovery of such costs.
If you have a concern during your tour, please raise it immediately with your tour leader or local representative so that we have the opportunity to address it promptly.
If the matter is not resolved, you should submit a written complaint to us within 30 days of the completion of your tour. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond in good faith within a reasonable timeframe.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales in respect of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any booking.
