In the morning visit Bangalore's botanical gardens before touring the ancient Bull Temple and Tipu Sultan's Palace. The afternoon is free to relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

Bangalore – Sravanabelgola – Hassan (145 Kms + 52 Kms)

Head towards Sravanabelgola, one of the oldest and most important Jain pilgrimage centres in India. The 17m-high naked statue of Bahubali (Gomateshwara) is said to be the world's tallest monolithic statue, perched atop Indragiri Hill. Proceed to Hassan for overnight stay.

Hassan – Belur – Halebid – Hassan

Drive through lush tropical landscapes to Halebid and Belur — constructed in the 12th and 13th century in superb Hoysala style, these temples are carved of stone and truly spectacular. The temple at Belur is famous for its profusely ornamented exterior; Halebid for its sculptured figures and open-air museum.

Hassan – Mysore (130 Kms / 2½ hrs)

After breakfast, leave for Mysore. On arrival, check-in at hotel. The later tour includes the Mysore Palace whose rooms are a kaleidoscope of colour. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning visit to Chamundi Hill — the climb is said to improve one's karma — for panoramic views of the city and the giant Nandi bull statue. Overnight stay at hotel.
