On arrival you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel, where rooms will be held on ready occupancy basis. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Guwahati. Arrive Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. Greeted by representative and transferred to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing: Srimanta Shankerdev Kalashetra, a multi-art complex depicting the cultural diversity of Assam and the North East. Welcome dinner at a specialty restaurant. Guwahati – Cherrapunjee (165 Kms / 7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, world renowned for being once the wettest place on Earth. En route visit Shillong Peak (1,965 m), which offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city below. Overnight stay at hotel.

Full day sightseeing of Cherrapunjee. Visit Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Caves, and the magnificent Nohkailikai Falls — one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. Overnight stay at hotel.

Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong – Shillong

Morning drive 3 hours (90 km) to Mawlynnong, one of the cleanest villages in Asia, bordering Bangladesh. Trek to the living Root Bridge — a natural engineering marvel. Walk to the Bangladesh viewpoint and interact with locals. Drive to Shillong en route visiting the Elephant Falls. Overnight at hotel.

Shillong Sightseeing
