Delhi Arrival
On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel, where rooms will be held on ready occupancy basis. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Delhi / Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Guwahati. Arrive Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. Greeted by representative and transferred to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Guwahati visiting Srimanta Shankerdev Kalashetra, a multi-art complex depicting the rich cultural diversity and life of Assam and the North East. Welcome dinner at a specialty restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel.

Guwahati – Dimapur – Kohima
Transfer to railway station for train journey to Dimapur (Jan Shatabdi Express, departs 06:30, arrives 10:35). Proceed by road to Kohima (2 hrs). Visit the Kohima War Cemetery, built in memory of WWII officers and men. Visit the Catholic Cathedral at Aradurah Hill — the largest cathedral in the entire North East. Also visit the State Museum showcasing Naga tribal life, ancestral weaponry, status pillars, and traditional costumes. Overnight at hotel.

Kohima – Mokokchung (120 Kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Mokokchung, home of the Ao Tribe. On arrival, check in at the tourist lodge. Evening visit to the local market. Overnight stay at lodge.

Mokokchung – Mon (215 Kms / 7 hrs)
Drive to Mon, headquarters of the Konyak tribe, known for their traditional feathered headgear and tattooed faces. On arrival, check in at guest house. Overnight stay.

Mon – Longwa – Mon (42 Kms / 3 hrs each way)
After breakfast, depart for Longwa Village, one of the biggest villages in Mon straddling the India–Myanmar international border. The Angh's (chief's) house literally spans two countries — he eats in India and sleeps in Myanmar. The totem pillar above the roof marks the boundary. Longwa is also a major trade point between India and Myanmar. En-route visit other villages. Return to Mon for dinner and overnight.

Mon – Sibsagar – Dibrugarh (190 Kms / 6 hrs)
Drive to Dibrugarh, the historic tea town of Assam. En route visit Sivasagar, the ancient capital of the Ahom kingdom, who ruled Assam for 600 years before the British. See the ancient temples and monuments — Ranghar, Talatalghar, and Siva Dol. Continue to Dibrugarh. Overnight at hotel.

Dibrugarh – Jokai – Naharkatia – Dibrugarh
Morning visit to Jokai Reserve Forest to explore the flora and fauna. Proceed to Nam-Phake village, home of the Tye-Phake community, who migrated from Thailand about 1,000 years ago. After lunch, visit the monastery to observe their lifestyle. Drive back to Dibrugarh for dinner and overnight stay.

Dibrugarh – Delhi
After breakfast visit a tea garden for which Assam is world famous. Learn about the tea manufacturing process at a tea factory. Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Check in to hotel. Overnight stay.

Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon check out and transfer to Delhi Airport to embark on flight to onward destination.
