Day 1 | Arrive Delhi by International FlightUpon arrival, meet & greet by our representative, transfer to hotel for check-in. |
Day 2 | DelhiEnjoy the breakfast at the hotel to welcome the fresh day in Delhi. Around 10:00am, meet with the tour guide, prior to the sightseeing in Old and New Delhi. Proceed to the Red Fort named for its red-sandstone walls (closed on every Monday) and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fort complex was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan as to be the residence In front of the Red Fort, there is the imperial avenue known as Chandni Chowk and also visit Rajghat. When pass through alleyways, it seems getting narrower and we end up at the Jama Masjid which is the largest Muslim mosque in India. You can also enjoy the Rickshaw ride crossing the streets in Old Delhi. Finishing the visit in Old Delhi, let’s head to New Delhi. Continue our visit to Qutab Minar and India Gate, a 42 meters archway built for memorial of Indian soldiers killed during the First World War. Watch the famous War Memorial Arch and see the contrast between old and New Delhi. Carry on our tour, drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan. It was initially constructed as the Imperial residence of the Viceroy in the early 20th century. Nowadays, it becomes the current residence of the President of India and Parliament House. This unique circular architecture was built with huge colonnades which house the Upper and Lower House of Parliament. Finally, proceed to the Government secretariat buildings at Connaught Place which is the heart of New Delhi as well as the busy shopping centre. |
Day 3 | Delhi – MandawaAfter breakfast, proceed to Mandawa (approx. 260 km / 06 Hours). Upon arrival, transfer to visit Nawalgarh. Nawalgarh is rightly referred to as the Open Air Gallery. There is art all around, renowned all over the world for its exquisitely painted Havelies. Beautifully carved wooden gates and the painted walls all add to an elegant atmosphere. |
Day 4 | Mandawa – BikanerMorning after breakfast drive to Bikaner (approx. 185 km / 4 Hours), upon arrival transfer to hotel for check-in. In the afternoon sightseeing tour of Bikaner, half day city sightseeing of Bikaner. The city is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. |
Day 5 | Bikaner – JaisalmerMorning after breakfast drive to Jaisalmer (Approx. 333 Kms / 07 Hours), Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. |
Day 6 | JaisalmerMorning after breakfast at leisure, Sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Evening camel ride at Sam sand Dunes, The visit to the Sam sand dunes is truly an experience. Vast expanse of sweeping sand dunes with no vegetation are located 42 km from Jaisalmer. ‘The Great Thar Desert’. Sam is nearly 3 km long, 1 km wide and dunes rises to a height of ½ km. A camel ride at sunset standing on the Dunes of the Thar provides a majestic view. |
Day 7 | Jaisalmer – JodhpurBreakfast at hotel.Morning leave Jaisalmer for Jodhpur (Approx. 290 Kms/06 Hours drive). Upon arrival check-in at hotel. |
Day 8 | JodhpurAfter breakfast start the sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort. Within the fort, visit Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jawant Singh II around 1899. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel. |
Day 9 | Jodhpur – Ranakpur – UdaipurMorning after breakfast, proceed to Udaipur (Approx. 260 Kms / 5.5 Hours), enroute visiting famous Ranakpur Jain Temples. Ranakpur Temple, known for its superbly carved Jain temples. The main temple is the Chaumukha or Four Faced temple, dedicated to Adinath Ji, dating back to the early 15th century. There are 1444 pillars in the temple, each uniquely carved. These were built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Jumbha in the 15th century. Continue drive to Udaipur, on arrival check in to the Hotel. |
Day 10 | UdaipurBreakfast at hotel. Morning after breakfast, transfer to visit Udaipur. Udaipur city of lakes is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in all of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh ji, the city’s epicenter of tourist activities is Lake Pichola. The City Palace on the banks of the lake Pichola has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Crystal Gallery in Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall and Shambhu Niwas. Other sites worth visiting are Jagdish temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari (queen’s resort for the friends) and Fateh Sagar Lake.Late afternoon, enjoy boat cruise at Lake Pichola. |
Day 11 | Udaipur – PushkarAfter breakfast, leave Udaipur for Pushkar (Approx. 275 Kms / 06 Hours), upon arrival check-in at hotel. Pushkar, one of the oldest cities in India, which lies on the shores of Pushkar Lake. The date of its origins is unknown, but legend associates Lord Brahma with its creation. It is mentioned that Brahma performed penance here for 60,000 years to have a glimpse of Vishnu. |
Day 12 | Pushkar – JaipurAfter breakfast, morning visit Pushkar Ghat & temples. Later drive to Jaipur (Approx. 142 Kms / 3 Hours drive). Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. |
Day 13 | JaipurMorning excursion to Amber Fort set in a picturesque location. Amber is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built in the 16th century by Raja Mansingh in red sandstone and white marble, the palace complex has some very interesting apartments. Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest. Elephants are provided to ascend the fort to visit the complex. (Elephants are subject to availability). Afternoon starts the sightseeing to visit Jaipur City. This city was built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer 260 years ago. Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, the home of the erstwhile royal family & the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh & also drive past the old part of Jaipur. |
Day 14 & 15 | Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – AgraAfter the relaxing breakfast at hotel, proceed to Agra (approx. 232 Kms / 6 hrs) en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. The shortages of water lead to the desertion of this city. Visit the mosque of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Upon arrival in Agra, transfer to Hotel for check-in. Afternoon, visit Agra Fort. |
Day 16 | Agra – Delhi – OutEarly morning visit Taj Mahal at sunrise. Agra, the home of the immortal Taj Mahal, the inimitable poem in white marble is the first expression of love of an Emperor Shahjehan to his queen Mumtaz Mahal. This great monument was completed in 1653 AD. (Taj Mahal remains closed on every Friday.) Return to hotel for breakfast. After relaxing breakfast, leave Agra for Delhi by surface (Approx. 205 Kms / 4.5 hours drive), upon arrival in Delhi, direct transfer to International airport to board flight for onward destination. |
